Drohobych. Bruno Schulz visits Regina Silberner and reveals his fears about going to Paris.

Regina Silberner*, Schulz’s student at the Adam Mickiewicz girls’ middle school in Drohobych*, in the published after many years “scraps of memories”, devotes a small mention to this meeting: “In July 1938, Bruno Schulz visited me at my parents’ house. He spoke with horror about the forthcoming trip to Paris for4 weeks: ‘how can live I in this stunning city, it must be terrifying and I don’t know the language’”1. (sr) (transl. mw)
