Vienna. Bruno Schulz pays tuition fees for architectural studies at the College of Technology.

The semester fee was 50 krone; Schulz’s family undoubtedly supported him financially. Due to the continuing war, the inhabitants of Vienna* were struggling with increasing poverty, many university students had scholarships or, with the consent of the university authorities, paid 50% of the required amount for their studies.
