Biographer of Emil Zegadłowicz, author of the first monograph on the life and work of his work (Pan na Gorzeniu 2005) and also the editor of his novel Zmory for the series “Biblioteka Narodowa” (2006). His academic interests include literary history of the interwar period (works of Emil Zegadłowicz, Jerzy and Witold Hulewicz, theatre work of Stanisława Wysocka) and contemporary literature (works of Gustaw Herling-Grudziński); editing; Jewish literature and culture. Member of the Polish Association for Jewish Studies, he cooperates with the editorial board of the Polski Słownik Biograficzny (Polish Biographical Dictionary), and is a co-editor of the Collected Works of Gustaw Herling-Grudziński (critical edition under the general editorship of Włodzimierz Bolecki; Cracow).
