Drohobych. Bruno Schulz’s older sister is getting married.

The young couple – Hanna Schulz and Moses Hoffman – are married by Chaim Kasniel Chorowitz, “an authorised official to administer marriage vows in Drohobych”. The best men are Mechel Haffebaum and Abraham Kuhmärker1. The bride and groom submit the relevant documents: birth certificates, banns of marriage and Moses’s certificate of military service with his military passport.
