Drohobych. The circumcision ceremony of Bruno Schulz’s nephew takes place.

In accordance with tradition, the procedure is carried out by the lime trader Samuel Kupferberg1, the witnesses of the ceremony2 are Izydor Schulz (described in the record book as an academician) and Hersch Hoffman (market trader3). The boy is named Ludwik.
