Warsaw. Bruno Schulz is at Zofia Nałkowska’s.
The meeting at Zofia Nałkowska’s is attended, apart from Schulz, by the diplomat Władysław Baranowski, painter Henryk Berlewi, and writers Włodzimierz Pietrzak and Witold Gombrowicz. During the evening there is a “great conversation about style”1, triggered by Gombrowicz’s article “On Zofia Nałkowska’s Style”2, published a little earlier in the Świat magazine. (mr) (transl. mw)
