Warsaw. Bruno Schulz visits Zofia Nałkowska.

Schulz spends the evening with Zofia Nałkowska*. The meeting is also attended by Bogusław Kuczyński, as well as by Zofia Nałkowska’s mother, Anna, and Alfred Łaszowski1, whom Schulz meets for the first time. The fact that the meeting was successful is suggested by an entry in Zofia Nałkowska’s Diaries from the following day: “Yesterday’s evening – full of intellectual taste, full of value. There was Łaszowski and Schulz, and Bogusław, who gave his consent. There was mom. These two [Łaszowski and Schulz] saw each other for the first time”2. (mr) (transl. mw)
