Drohobych. In the Franciszek Józef Imperial-Royal Middle School, the first term of the 1909/1910 school year ends. Bruno Schulz receives a list of grades. 

Schulz manages to obtain a very good degree in most subjects: Religious Education, Latin, Greek, Polish, German, Introduction to Philosophy, and also for behaviour. He receives a good grade in Geography and History, Physics and Chemistry, and Gymnastics. He misses 20 school hours (all excused). His diligence is assessed as good. 

In the coming six months, as a secondary school graduate, he has one hour of exam revision classes per week.
