Lviv. Izydor Schulz takes part in the oil survey.
The survey – in the form of a conference – is initiated by Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lviv. Over one hundred delegates take part, including representatives of the government and the Ministry of Military Affairs, deputies, Lviv authorities, professors of the Lviv Polytechnic, representatives of economic organisations and the most important members of the oil industry, including Izydor Schulz.
According to the organisers, the aim of this event is to familiarise the management and the public with the oil industry’s problems “at this difficult and for many reasons decisive moment”1. In fact, as reported in the newspapers, the situation of the oil industry is dramatic – which is manifested by the production decline and the almost complete cessation of drilling – and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, located in the building at ul. Akademicka 17, “has never witnessed such a gloomy, depressing mood” [2]] felt among the gathered.
