Drohobych. Józef Staromiejski becomes the headmaster of the Imperial-Royal Higher Middle School, which Bruno Schulz is a student of.

Staromiejski, former headmaster of the Imperial-Royal V Middle School in Lviv1, replaces Franciszek Majchrowicz, appointed by the National School Council as the inspector of secondary schools2. During the transitional period, the duties of the headmaster were performed by Kazimierz Eliasz, teacher of mathematics and physics3. (kw) (transl. mw)
