Stanisławów (now Iwano-Frankiwsk). Bruno Schulz’s older brother is getting married.

The young couple – Baruch Izrael Schulz1 and Regina Liebesman – is married by Alter Nebenzahl, deputy rabbi in Stanisławów. The best men are Daniel Grinberg and Izrael Rosenkranz. The bride and groom provide the necessary documents: birth certificates, banns of marriage, permission from the father of the underage Regina (who is then slightly over eighteen years old, which is considered underage in Austrian law) and Izydor’s military passport.
