A graduate of Polish Studies, he focuses on the history of animated cinema, the mass culture of the interwar period, the history of comics and the correspondence of arts. The author of three books: Małe wielkie kino. Film animowany od narodzin do końca okresu klasycznego (2009), Polska szkoła animacji (2011) and Miki i myszy. Walt Disney i film rysunkowy w przedwojennej Polsce (2012). A co-author of the lexicon Powieści graficzne (Warszawa 2015) edited by Sebastian J. Konefał. He has published in Dialog, EKRANy, Panoptikum, Kultura Popularna, Images, Zeszyty Komiksowe and academic anthologies. The editor-in-chief of the annual Przezrocze. (transl. mw)
