Małgorzata Ogonowska

Born in 1971 in Węgorzewo. A graduate of Polish Studies (editorial studies) at the University of Gdańsk, she has worked as an editor and proof-reader since 1996, and as a publisher since 2013.

She specialises in editing academic texts both by Polish authors and foreign translations, as well as in editing critical and source texts. In 2013 she co-founded the publishing house “Wydawnictwo w Podwórku”, in 2013—2015 she was its co-owner and editor. Since 2015, as a co-owner and editor-in-chief, she has been developing the publishing house “Części Proste”. She is a member of the Schulz Laboratory. In 2012–2015 she worked on the critical edition of the collected works of Bruno Schulz. Since 2015 she has been involved in the project “Calendar of Life, Work, and Reception of Bruno Schulz”, where she is coordinating the development of the website presenting the results of the research. She is working on a Ph.D. dissertation devoted to Bruno Schulz and the perspectives of digital humanities. (transl. mw)
