Born in 1989. A Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Languages of the University of Gdańsk.
He is working on a Ph.D. dissertation Warszawski teatr operowy Wojciecha Bogusławskiego w latach 1778–1783. A graduate of Polish Studies at the University of Gdańsk and of Instrumentalist Studies (harpsichord) at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, he has studied literary history and musicology at the Sorbonne in Paris (as an Erasmus student). In 2014 he was nominated for the Red Rose Award for the best student by the Rector of the Academy of Music. A finalist of the Prix Annelie de Man Harpsichord Competitions in 2012 and 2015, and of the 3rd Academic Harpsichord Competition in 2013. The winner of the first prize of the National Harpsichord Competition in 2008. He has published on melodic topoi, literary inspirations in music, musical themes in poetry, theatricalisation of musical performance and musicality of theatrical performance. He has also published critical essays in literary periodicals. He is a member of the Schulz Laboratory, where he concentrates on the musical reception of Bruno Schulz’s works and the embedding of the studied phenomena in the historical context. (transl. mw)
