Drohobych. Bruno Schulz responds to the invitation of the editorial office of Sygnały.
The letter is a response to the invitation to participate in the December issue prepared by the editors. Schulz accepts the invitation. He promises to send “some fiction”1 (although he doesn’t know what it would be yet) and to meet the deadline. He fulfils his promise on time by sending Sygnały* a piece of his prose entitled Fatherland, which would be published in the 59th issue of the magazine.
