Drogobych. Bruno Schulz writes a letter to Tadeusz Breza and Zofia Breza.

In the introduction of the short letter, Schulz assures the addressees that he will be happy to send his autograph to Mrs. Maria Leśnobrodzka, a friend of the Brezas and enthusiast of his work: “It’s very nice for an author to find out that he gets through”1. This is followed by an excerpt addressed to Tadeusz Breza, a prose writer affiliated with Kurier Poranny*, in which Schulz thanks Breza for his last letter and the remarks about the recently published volume of short stories Sanatorium under the Sign of the Hourglass. He also asks Breza to write a review of the collection: “So little has been written so far. As a matter of fact, the press is completely quiet about it. Thank you in advance”2.

The final part of the letter, addressed to Zofia Breza*, is basically limited to very warm thanks for the kindness in the previous news and greetings.
